                 Thank you for reply, yes we have Canada Geese land on fields behind my home near to the River Nene which flows through Northamptonshire to the Wash and out to the English Channel.

The Snow Geese will be here until almost the end of March.  We have thousands of them.  Canada Geese and a large assortment of ducks will be here when you visit.

		<description>I suspect you may be right at least about the early winter.  My dogwoods and burning bushes have turned color much earlier this year than in others.  

The Hummingbirds were late to arrive and early to leave.  Saw my first Chickadee at my feeders yesterday and the Blue Jays are back begging for peanuts already.</description>
