My dogwoods and burning bushes have turned color much earlier this year than in others. The Hummingbirds were late to arrive and early to leave. Saw my first Chickadee at my feeders yesterday and the Blue Jays are back begging for peanuts already. I suspect you may be right at least about the early winter.
