Oh the weather outside is frightful…
We’re having another weather event on the Delmarva Peninsula today. Officially in upstate Delaware and Maryland this year has seen the most snowfall on record. Today in Lewes, Delaware it is raining but will likely turn to snow later today. This male and female Northern Cardinal found a comfortable perch fittingly on a snow fence.

LOVE this photo….even though I am hating this weather (and all the reports of increasing power outages AND collapsing roofs). NOT the kind of winter we expect in this area at all. I never cared about breaking records and surely didn’t want the snowfall record to be broken!
