Diving In, Head First!
The day dawned cold and ice covered much of the salt marsh so finding food must have been difficult as there wasn’t much open water. I found a flock of Ring-billed Gulls diving into the water head first trying to catch minnows. it usually took several tries but most of the gulls were successful.
