Cold Morning – Wild Delmarva book select
With cool mornings now it might be good to look back to one very cold morning, the day I started photographing Wild Delmarva almost two years ago. This is the Mispillion River and the temperature was just 7 degrees F. The river froze when the tide came in and when the tide went out the ice settled down on the muddy river bottom.
Wild Delmarva is here now and shipping autographed, first edition copies begins this week.

Beautiful photographs. Love that $1 will also go to benefit the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, but this being a book about Delmarva, what about the often forgotten Delaware Bay? The eastern side of the Penninsula?
It’s way overshadowed by the Chesapeake Bay in funding but the Delaware Bay is just as wonderous and in some respects even more so.

Hi Kim,
There are plenty of Delaware Bay photographs in the book. And I agree the Delaware Bay needs to get more attention.
Thanks, Kevin
