Last Summer Sunrise – Wild Delmarva book select

I’m in Europe now on assignment but here’s a look back at the last summer sunrise from last year at Herring Point in Cape Henlopen State Park. The Wild Delmarva books are on their way from China and will likely be shipping the first week of November. So far, this assignment has taken me to London – Jersey (Channel Islands) – Dublin – Amsterdam – Luxembourg – Strasbourg. Tomorrow Germany. I’m going to be happy to be home signing Wild Delmarva books soon!

Great Blue Heron – Wild Delmarva book select

If Delmarva were a state and the State of Delmarva had a bird it would certainly be the Great Blue Heron. Year-round residents here, these handsome birds with a unique silhouette can be found along the edges of many ponds, rivers and salt marshes that have fish. On days when you can’t find any other interesting wildlife on the peninsula, you can usually find a Great Blue Heron.
